Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in children's numeracy skills through loose part media in group A at KB Nur Intan Cikande and to determine the use of loose part media in improving numeracy skills in group A children at KB NUR INTAN Cikande. The method in this research uses the classroom action research method, as an effort to obtain research data through observation sheets carried out during learning activities. The research results show that the use of loose part media has an influence on improving numeracy skills in children. This can be seen from the research results, namely through the playing method using loose part media. This is proven by the pre-research results, the class average was 58%, in the first cycle there was an increase of 70.7%. Based on this evidence, the increase that occurred from pre-research to cycle I was 12.7%. Likewise, the results of cycle II experienced a very good and satisfactory increase with a class average of 86.6%. So the change or increase experienced from cycle I to cycle II was 15.9%.
