KAJIAN MORFOLOGI PADA NOVEL “TENTANG LAKI-LAKI DAN HATI” KARYA CHUA

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is (1) what is the morphological process of affixation in the novel  About Men and Hearts. (2) what is the morphological process of reduplication in the novel About Men and Hearts. (3) what is the morphological process of compounding in the novel About Men and Hearts. The aims of this research are (1) To describe the morphological process of affixation in novels about men and the heart. (2) Describe the morphological process of reduplication in novels about men and the heart. (3) Describe the morphological process of compounding in novels about men and the heart. The research method used is the method used in this research, namely the descriptive method because this research uses a qualitative approach which explains the contents of the novel in book form with morphological studies. Research techniques are reading techniques, documentation techniques, and note-taking techniques. In conclusion, in this research, the author found that the affixation process was 202 words, the reduplication process was 29 words, and the compounding process was 8 words.
